Fruita CO | The oil patch outfits around you must not be catching as much hell from the neighbors as they are here. All the engines on the frac units here have what looks like a couple of 500 gal. tanks on top, they are mufflers...a lot of the drilling is happening real close to residential areas in the little mt. towns, & noise is a constant hassle, as well as dust & truck traffic...Colorado ain't what she used to be...
PS-seems like most of the frac co's here have Cat or Cummins on board anymore. V16's w/4 turbos, not little ones either...
