I don't how they plan to blend to Maytag & Whirlpool line of Washer.
Also the last few models of Maytag's Front Loading Washers were built by Samsung (LG). Or at least it has a lot of Samsung parts in it. We have a Maytag Neptune 9700 front loader. It's a good washer but, it ain't the Maytag of Old.
