Eastern Indiana | I work at a GM dealership as a technician and I sympathize with your problem. That belt setup is in the Top 5 of the worst ones..
The first step will be take off Right Front wheel and remove splash shield to gain access to the lower motor mount retaining stud located between harmonic balancer and A.C. compressor.
Second remove the lower mount retaining nut (15mm) from stud. Then you will need an inverted torx socket (E8 Ithink) to remove stud from block. A 6 point 5/16 socket also will work usually. After the stud is out you will be able to push the 2.5 "long spacer from between block and cast mount. I you polish one and of the spacer with a slight chamfer it will aid with reinstallation.
These are the exact insructions we get from G.M. from their online service manual with no pictures of course copied and pasted
REMOVE:
1.The engine mounting bracket lower nut.
2.The engine mounting bracket lower stud.
3.The engine mounting bracket lower spacer
4.Remove the belt
