If you are buying a tractor to drive down the road, get a Kenworth. You will like the ride a lot better when you get it in the field. I would suggest another 10 psi in the airbags. It will improve ride some and steering a lot. If the bags are low all the weight is on the idlers and the drivers (mostly the idlers) and ride is poor and steering is nearly impossible, especially on pavement. I would call the belts a bit short of 80% judging from the picture. They will do the job for a long time yet, but road ride goes south in a hurry as the grousers wear down. A 65 is not going to be a powerhouse on the road. It's the same weight as a 95 with what, 130 less horsepower and no electronic unit injection to give it lots of torque backup. |
