Subject: Won't steer in the mud

Eastern VA. No such thing as too many Magnums.
The horrible steering in the mud is the exact reason I've never had a track machine. I drove a 8400T once in the mud and I think I'd have been better off with a 4455. I couldn't steer worth a hoot. Sometimes i had to turn the wheel around and around just to stay straight. We do a LOT of pulling in the mud if harvest is rainy. Quad-Tracks seem like they would be real good, but they're sorta big and expensive compared to an old square nose Magnum MFWD. Tracks have their place, unfortunately it's not my place.
