I have a Waterfurnace system set up in my house in central ND for 5 years now. Heating a two story house and a triple garage. Always get a desuperheater w/ a geothermal system. Heating, cooling, and water heater costs annually are $325. I figure an easy payback as compared to a propane heating system in 5 years.
