near dyersville iowa | received a large check last week. went to bank to deposit, as banking app will not take a check this large. Bank teller informs me that only 30% of the check will be available immediately. Not ideal. guess ill have to factor that in when contracting crops from now on. It seems this is a thing among both banks and credit unions now. Claim that it is to protect from check fraud. I always thought banks could verify checks immediately these days? | |
