| I can admit not having the wherewithal to do what these folks do day after day. Some people don't teach their kids to behave and not run and yell in doctors offices or any public places. It would seem that some may be looking to get offended about most anything. I choose to be thankful that I can get an appointment and actually be seen by a doctor or nurse. Here lately it has been hard to make certain appointments that are actually in the same calendar year. Some places are booked solid until May or later.
On a side note: A close friend in law enforcement used to be in SWAT. He transitioned out of that department and became a Constable. Occasionally he would train with the Sheriff's department for various violent events but then dealt with evictions as well as investigative work. One lady made her eviction by him personal against him instead of her failing to pay what was owed. She cursed him at the top of her lungs and called him every kind of demeaning term she could come up with. He was doing his job and it was nothing personal against her. But she decided to take out her emotions and aggression on him. This guy has been through some tough stuff in law enforcement. I could tell it did later bother him just how cruel her use of words became to insult and degrade him. And he is not a little guy either. We are all human. How do you not take some of that type abuse home? You can't unhear things or unsee any of it. Like it or not, the mind will replay events.
I told the nurse who helped me today how much I appreciate her. She is lovely inside and out. A precious lady in many ways.
