NE Iowa | We have a cellular based wifi network in the house. Get 200gb of very good (fast, reliable, etc) data - then it throttles back to something basically unusable. We also have unlimited data on our phones (different data plan than the wifi router). We are routinely bumping up against the 200gb limit and would like to have the ability to move some of that data usage to our phones by streaming from them to the tv without being on the wifi network (screen mirroring needs wifi). Will an AppleTV adaptor do this? From a little reading online, it appears that the communication link between the phone and AppleTV isn't necessarily wifi (bluetooth maybe?). Will this work? Or do I just need to inform my wife she needs to get by with watching fewer streaming shows. | |
