I agree with what you are saying.

I wanted to experiment with a couple of programs and the first time it used code that didn't exist for the base program.  I tried getting code to accept input then move to a new cell in Libre calc and it insisted on using a Dim command that calc said was wrong, finally it suggested I try the LibreOffice help group.
