Chatham Ontario. | I think you'll be fine ,especially if it is shrink wrapped. My understanding on meat hanging in an out building, is that bacteria won't penetrate the meat which is why cuts of meat can be cooked rare without any ill effect. Ground beef would have the bacteria mixed all through it from processing, and should therefore be brought up to temperature. Tenderizing will also push bacteria deep into cuts of meat depending on the style of tenderizer. | |
