NS Canada
I often wonder about the digesting during waking hours deal.. seems most all animals (especially meat eaters) spend their day by tracking and hunting (exertion and work), stuffing themselves full and then going to sleep. I know they always say it's bad to eat before bed, but seems pretty natural for the animals. Even the plant eaters go lie down, or ruminate after filling up.

Maybe it's a case of eating mid day, followed by lounging and napping, and not their actual night time sleep that is the difference.
