If you have kestrels moving through the neighborhood, build them a few nesting boxes and hang em on whatever poles in the area. We put them 10'+ up and face SSE, no closer together than a 1/2 mile. Neat little raptors, too small to harm much, but hell on rodents. Preferred perch is a power line
