For me there are way more pros than cons. Plastic is expensive, but 3.25 per bale is not bad considering you will have 0 waste. Wrappers are expensive but so are buildings, and when the building is full you're done, plus you have to get the hay dry. Plus a wrapper will be easier to get your money out of than a building. A big pro is
you can harvest when the hay is at highest quality.
A con is if you get holes in the plastic from critters or whatever you can/Will end up with a mess.
Personally I can't stand to buy expensive fertilizer and let a quarter of it rot or stand waiting for a weather window going downhill everyday. A wrapper is definitely a game changer.
Just my opinion.
