Subject: Applying Dry Fertilizer on Hay and Pasture in June

West Central Illinois
I got soil tests back on some poor ground i was curious how bad it would test, P was 21 lb and K was 267 lb, PH was 5.9 which was a lot higher than i had figured.

Anyways had wanted to get this done earlier in the spring but it got away from me. Now we're dry like everyone else and i've got all 1st cutting off of the hayground.

Would it be advisable to spread P & K yet this week even with the conditions? Not much experience with it this time of year but i know putting urea on would be a bad idea since it's more volatile. Is DAP and Potash the same way? Would it deteriorate if we didn't get rain for a few weeks or should i just wait until August/September? This farm is also getting the crop ground adjacent to it limed this year so the plan is to also lime the pasture and hay this fall while we're at it
