I guess I'm kind of confused on this same level thing

nope. If you put your USB stick in a PC and open it up, you should see:
xxxxx.cn1 (this is where all of your logged data is stored, including guidance lines, planter data, sprayer data, growers, farms, fields, etc.)
shapefile (this is the folder where you need to put all of your Shapefiles. Just dump them all in together.
(You might also see a TaskData folder, if you use any ISOBUS implements.)

If the "shapefile" folder is INSIDE the cn1 folder, the display won't find the Shapefiles. So make sure that you can see the folder named "shapefile" while you can also see the folder ending in .cn1
