| It's really hard to tell what's going on in Ukraine. 1st we are told there is a massive war and there will be no grain production (btw, the only footage I've seen - bbc - usually shows 4 guys and a tank and no one looks dirty from crawling around). Then it turns out they have a great harvest and it all gets shipped and world starvation didn't happen. I have yet to see big combat. I've seen a previously evacuated bombed out city. You can also add in Joe's comments about taking out the pipeline to further confuse things.
About the only fact is that lots of money is flying around and now hardware.
The dam news is about as credible as any other grain market news (terrible drought then better than expected). Who knows?
However, we seem to be set up for a return to lower prices (seems like that's where the market momentum is) and "the world is ending" is about all that will get the market to move higher. I say take the cookies while they are hot since there may be no cookies in a few months. | |
