| If Russia's goal was to keep NATO at bay, it failed miserably. Finland joined NATO and probably brought NATO to Russia's border along a longer border than Ukraine's border with Russia.
If NATO and the west is so bad and threatening to Russia, why doesn't Poland or Lithuania just annex the little chunk of Russia (Kaliningrad) surrounded by Poland, Lithuania, and the Baltic sea. It is approximately 412 miles from mainland Russia?
