Frisco, TX | Agree. A major weakness of online bill pay is that small scale vendors tend not to accept electronic/ACH files and can only be paid by a paper check sent by your bank. One vendor of mine kept throwing away the unopened envelopes because they thought it was an advertisement or some "notice" from the bank. Another had an accounts receivable person that couldn't correctly process the payment because their own payment coupon form was not enclosed. That's even when the check had all the ID information to match the check to the invoice/bill.
