ICC, no a person isn't supposed to clean panels, as it may scratch them. I've read where your supposed to use a foam brush. We just lightly broom it off part way up to get it running. We keep a kitchen broom in the truck during feeding that had soft bristles.

I figured it can be any worse than the dust storms sand blasting it all the time off the lake and west desert. We got a bad one two days ago. 70-80 mile winds.

Edited to add, we were 25 miles from home, needed to get panel running as we had 650 cows on that system right then.
