South Central MN | Here we got "blessed" with 5 ish inches of rain mid May so didn't have anything looking short of moisture until about the first.
It is also raining now tonight but might not be more than 1/2 inch which I am just fine with.
The crops planted before that big rain really don't look the best other than a couple fields a neighbor has. Most of the corn fields are uneven color and height. As of now the best stuff looks like it was planted after the rain, but will be behind the early stuff by a fair margin.
Could still have a good crop, just don't see a record happening here. | |
