For whatever reason people move to the country and buy a small parcel of land and then think they can do as they please on everyone else's land as well. Ever hear the phrase "everyone thought I was easy going until I quit being a pushover"?
There is no winning with this guy. He's going to continue to be a jerk no matter what. He won't be able to afford the number you offer him so then he will do some robin hood BS since you "have more than him". I find it absolutely amazing how often I see people who throw fits about where a property line is to the inch in their head (not the survey) will dump their wood burner ashes, lawn clippings, cat/ dog crap, and whatever else into the field next to their house. | |
