NW Iowa | Just my own personal view here, but I would feel guilty not standing the second time. However I can agree with those who feel standing once is enough.
On a side note, when we are at a 4th of July parade or any parade with 100 or so entries, how often do we stand for a flag passing by in the parade? I stand for the American Legion flag and any other flag carried by people representing the armed services but I stay seated for the rest of the flags down the line. The rest of the crowd seems to do the same.
