100-18.5 divided by 100-15.5 = .9645
Subtract that from 1 and you get your math shrink. 3.55%
Subtract that from 6% and you get your cost. 2.45%
Take that times the price of corn, $6.30, and you have your cost per bushel. 15.44 cents per bushel
About a nickel per point. Not horrible.
