| AED - 6/9/2023 06:41 Funny story. Farm I was spraying for spider mites. This year is the 20th crop I have put on it. Before that it changed hands every year or two like a carnival ride. Couple guys from IA actually came down to try and farm it. Lost their tails and got back home as quick as they could. So yea I guess you could say it’s truth even if you don’t like it.
Here's a news flash for you, there are lots of pieces of ground in Iowa that go through tenants every couple years as well.
Often its not so much a tenant problem as it is a landlord problem. The landlord wants top tier rent for a bottom rung farm that has been mined out and beaten by every tenant that has farmed it.
Tends to be a perpetual problem until it eventually gets sold and the new owner invests some time and money into fixing the problems.
