You're going to have to elaborate that one for me. Are you talking about the CAFE standards that are pushing fuel economy or something else? Edit: I guess there is the ethanol mandate, but that actually lowers the cost of gasoline so I'm not sure where we're going here.
The mandates in California and other states outlawing ICE vehicles at some point. The mandates on the electric green transformation.
Currently not active and hence not driving sales at this time.
The mandates to use tax dollars to incentivize purchases of said EVs.
That would be a tax credit, not a mandate. It certainly incentivizes an EV purchase, but it's not banning people from buying an ICE.
Pick one or any.
So you answered my question: There are currently no mandates driving EV sales.
