You were the one to bring up the “farmer” and “real life usage”, I merely pointed out that he’s no longer farms and it’s more of a luxury toy than a real life on a farm.  

If it was an EV pickup and he’s using it as his daily driver on the farm it would be much more valid to play the farmer real life usage cards.  

 I honestly don’t care if you or him thinks EVs are the greatest thing ever as long as we’re being accurate on their capabilities/limitations and a proper assessment is given on the effect that wide scale adoption will have on the grid.     Mostly all I see is cheerleading style “rah rah” and limitations are completely dismissed.
