Feels bad man, but I'll be dipped for saying we are in worse shape now than in 2012 for dryness.
But in 2012, the corn was almost belly or chest high already. Not the case now, so still time to be saved.
I'll have to make a big sale sometime this summer.
My broker should make a decent chunk on me this year. I don't own my own farm storage, and I refuse to pay commercial storage. The drying charge also goes from sold at 15.5% to 14.5% for stored or something. So that's another hit. Basis doesn't move much for a long time typically, so I'll sell out the field and reown the board if I need to.
