EC SD
One of the co-ops here moved their June corn bids from July to the Sept contract. They raised basis by 50 cents, but the contract spread is -80 cents!! That is an overnight price drop of 30 cents plus the market is down another 10 today for a 40 cents drop in their cash bid today.

It seems like nothing changed in the fundamentals (national or local) to cause this large price drop, especially this early in this summer's weather market. Did it rain 3 inches throughout the corn belt?
