Your talking that USDA needs to revise their baseline, I simply showed you examples were farmers think every report needs to be revised to agree with the farmers bias.
The answer is NO usda gives a baseline and the markets needs to make the adjustments.
There are very respectable market people who believe that USDA is 2+ million corn acres under what was earlier predicted. Should USDA have adjusted that number today based off those thoughts or using your logic USDA should have started the year off with the highest ever planted acres. So start with 107 ish million acres at the highest proven yield.
Again, we aren’t talking about acreage.
You can’t comment on my logic, I’ve hardly said anything in this thread but you’ve been so busy pushing your own opinion that you’ve hardly noticed. This may come as a shock to you, but your opinions on this are no more valid than mine.
Bottom line, you asked a question, and I answered it. If you didn’t want an answer you shouldn’t have asked.
