CCU 023 is stored if the CCU does not receive the engine speed signal from the ECU via the CAN Network. The ECU uses circuits 447 and 448 from the engine crankshaft speed sensor and circuits 443 and 445 from the engine cam speed sensor to receive the engine speed signal.
The ecu sends the ccu the speed signal on the can/bus.
