Ok open the post you wish to link.

Up top in the address bar you should see the actual web address of it's location. In the address bar put your mouse cursor clear at the left of the address.  Hold your left mouse button down and drag across the entire address in the address bar which should highlight the entire address.  Place your mouse curser on the highlighted text and right mouse click, Select copy from the pop up menu.

Now open a new post and in the text area where you type a reply right mouse click again and select paste from the pop up window.

The copied address should now appear. Depending on operating system and browser it may already be highlighted a different color if so the link is already hot.

If not once again hold your left mouse button down and drag across the entire address which should highlight the entire address.  Place your mouse curser on the highlighted text and right mouse click, Select copy from the pop up menu.

Once you do this the chain link icon should become active so left click it and in the text dialog box that opens right click in the URL address box and select paste then hit the insert button to make the link hot.

Obviously this is using a computer from a phone will be similar but different.

If you still can't make it happen make your post and tell what the subject is of the post you want to link and when it was posted and I will find and make the link for you.

The above sounds more complicated than it is but until you have done it several times it can appear to be daunting.

Have attached some screenshots to help illustrate what I am talking about and what you should see.

Thank you Von

Dan
