OK Panhandle | On some Windows 7 installs, Windows had a nasty habit of filling up the temp folder in the Windows directory with junk files. Clearing those out could free up some space, but it will probably happen again.
You can use a program like TreeSize to scan your hard drive to find out where the biggest folders are and address those.

If it isn't already configured, you can also enable disk compression on your C: drive. Just right-click the C: drive, open Properties, and check the box to enable compression.
If you legitimately have run out of disk space, your only option is to remove files you don't need or purchase a low-profile USB flash drive that you can leave connected to the.laptop and start moving files to it. These USB drives are so cheap now, it's just ridiculous.
