Very good write up and explanation. But if you REALLY want to get into the extremely fast dry hay business you should move to Texas or the high plains. We can cut 2 ton hay in the morning and have it baled before dark in July and August most years. Like you said, humidity and wind are your biggest allies in doing that. We regularly have low 20's humidity(or lower) and 20+ mph winds that will blow your windrows away if you rake them to far ahead of the baler.
