mn | DTN/progressive farmer has an article that a frost event could take place next week. Only 6% of the corn is reaching maturity, with 35% in milk/dough stage and the balance is just coming into pollination. Anyone else read this? It sure hasn't been talked about anywhere that I've heard. The article also mentioned a later than normal planting due to wet conditions, and now getting dry. Comments?
I stand corrected......56% is in the fill stage with 35% in pollination
