David - 4/14/2024 19:11 Your reading comprehension is atrocious. I never mentioned a President or politics other than to say we funded this issue. My post was on markets and whatever this issue could do. Other than that, you just needed something to say on this.

You'll have to excuse the old Sheep Herder, its hard for him to think clearly when there's a 6' 3", 240 lb, 77 year old man living in his head.

At least he's come to terms with Trump living in his head rent free and isn't trying to rent out the space between his ears anymore.    Now he's just "dedicated to the cause", which is apparently code for "TDS sufferers anonymous".

So, maybe 2 people had a gun that day on-site. Everything else you described was offsite or later.

Yep, quite an insurrection.

It was only deadly because a police officer killed someone. Needlessly.

And yet now grain prices are even lower than when Trump was in office while at the same time everything we have to buy has at the minimum doubled in price.

And all of the Chinese tariffs that the old Sheep dog blames for the low grain prices are still in place under Joseph Robin Biden.

Eh, I'm not so sure I agree with everything you are claiming. Israel has pulled off some pretty gutsy air strikes against both Iran and Syria. This proves to me that they can project power very successfully beyond 50 miles of their border.

What Iran is incredibly good at is being a big blowhard, on par with Putin and Kim Jong-un. All hat and no cattle. They run their mouths and somehow convince large percentages of people to believe their B.S.

Israel has done pinpoint attacks on singular targets in Syria. But places like Damascus were the initial attack Israel carried out against Irans consulate building causing last nights retribution attack, is only 60 ish miles from the Israeli border. There have been reports of Israel drones attacking actual Iranian soil. But here again these are the small type that can pinpoint singular targets and put small amounts of explosives on target but not the massive bombing of targets.

To really project power across the 1000 miles it’s from Tel Aviv to Tehran, takes more air power than Israel has or wants to put in harms way. Israel still has Hezbollah sitting on its northern border that is a more likely and harder to defend against attack point. Power projection with fighter aircraft only is a very slow process.

This isn’t to say Israel is weak, because it’s has defensive capabilities second to none in the area. But it takes a next level military to move that power 600+ miles to hostile territory and then 400 more miles through said hostile territory with air defenses so that one can hit larger scale/higher value military targets.

Good thing the two situations are not related and therefore one does not prove or disprove the other. So the situation must stand on its own.

The court system determines if the letter of the law was followed. Generally courts will usually err on the side of caution that the experts assessments are correct but that does not mean they have determined that the experts were correct. It just means that they followed the letter of the law.

That is true for both situations. People often incorrectly use court cases such as these as implied proof that the experts assessments were correct. That is not what the court determined.

If you trying to infer that the court cases proved nothing due to them all being dismissed based on supposedly procedure, then you are incorrect. There were many many cases dismissed on merit, procedure, and standing. One doesn’t bring that many lawsuits and loose them all. That is indicative of “grasping at straws to see what sticks”. Once again there were no prominent and seasoned lawyers willing or take the cases up. One doesn’t get newly minted lawyers or lawyers with zero case law experience to argue these type of cases. Serious lawyers also don’t make the cable news rounds to try and make their case. The election cases were absolute proof of nothing there. Read the case outcomes.

I’m not shaking in my boots or spooked.

What I am is a Christ follower that understands where all this leads. I’m not scared, just observant.

"I decided that everyone on the internet should know my analysis of these geopolitical events. After immediately being proven wrong I will now flash my religious virtue signal and wait for my like minded reinforcements to come running with scripture and verse to tell me I'm still on the right side of the issue"

I don't know why I continue to waste my time reading this forum.

I like Corbitt Wall's suggestion, turn it into a parking lot. But the US electing someone that at least has some balls is a close second.
