For Windows users, keyboard command ctrl+shift+esc opens system monitor to view processes and startup applications - if something suspicious is running, consult a trusted pc fixer guy. Malwarebytes used to be a good system scanner if you had concern about something.

If I understand the dust up, Shimmy didn't have a virus infected PC, he posted on a public forum and a bad actor tried with some success to take down the entire agtalk website. This is next level stuff, over and above hijacking a single computer. | |
