NW Tennessee | We started shelling corn today and were pleasantly surprised with our first dryland field. I don't know how or where it came from, but it averaged 128 bpa dry corn. Moisture ran from 16.2 to 16.7. I know that sounds like a disaster to some of ya'll, and it's quite a bit below our average, but I'll take it and be thankful in a year like this one. We'll have some worse, but I really don't think that will be our best, either. To be honest, I was hoping for 100 bpa, but thought I was being optimistic at that.
