Still need to unload yield data, but know that corn was well off last year and beans were off in 30" and off but not by as much in drilled.
As you can see from the last picture, our combine is still making meal out of the corn. This is what comes out of the perf screen on the auger and lands on the ground. I'm mostly sure that it's coming from the conc/cyl area. Something just doesn't sound right below me. Looks like we'll have to pull the feederhouse off AGAIN and check it out.
You can also see that our rolls on the corn head do a poor job when the stalks are spindly. If I were to slow down to 4.5 mph or so, they would do a better job. I was running 5 or more in poorer yielding stuff. We always mow them anyway. It just looks like crap for a while.
