So I flew my drone into a tree the other day while mapping a field with drone deploy, was in too much of a hurry to realize I was under the edge of a tree. It barely hit it, recovered while flying into the heart of it, and took a dive right for the ground. One arm is pretty well hurt, you can see where its bent a bit and the propeller just barely nicks the top of the drone. It still flys surprisingly and the camera and everything work pretty fine so far. Any ideas on what I should do? I was thinking about getting new plastics but if it flys then I might stick it out... Pictures to follow soon.

Eastern Shore of MD
I would have to fix it - all parts are available for it. Glad the damage isn't worse!!

The shell is available at modest cost and not that difficult to change everything over but you'd need a few small tools and good eyesight/dexterity.
If the camera and gimbal were damaged it would almost make more sense to buy another drone especially the way prices have dropped lately.

I would caution that sometimes there is more damage than immediately apparent in a significant crash and it might still be the best option to get a drone only package from DJI.
In fact I think I'd do that and you'd still have the old one for spare bits.
Also a lot are coming up on ebay as owners trade for Phantom 4.
