West Tennessee | I've got a sickle from a 930 flex header that broke last year. Almost all the blades are new and I wanted to repair it and keep it for a spare. I've looked at the kit in Shoup "lickety split" (no link to it, shoup and sloan don't list this online, only in the catalogs). I'm not sure if that's the best way to do this or not. I'm a little skeptical of the part of the repair splice in that kit that goes below the bar. Does this not cause interference? Anyone who's used one of these or got a better way to fix that will actually hold up. BTW, I've heard of people welding them together, but that doesn't sound too good to me either, but maybe that's best. Thanks, BH
