| Awhile back I ask about putting split sprokets on my 1660 throat chain top shaft and now have decided to go ahead with them. I have just recieved them from Sloan. Now for the question. Someone said the old sprockets were hard to torch off. So I was wondering if it would be alright to just move them over toward the center of throat on the shaft and tighten down. Do you think it would interfere with the feeding of the crop into the cylinder? What do you think. Would you just go ahead and torch or leave them or have other method?
