MT-ND | It's not a fair comparison or even a competition when you compare a $200 PC to a $2000 apple. I built a $2000 PC 10 years ago and I'm still running it without issue.
I just don't understand how people will buy a $2000 apple and then compare it to a $200 PC and wonder why one works better then proclaim all PC's stink and apple is superior.
Otherwise apple uses the same hardware as PC's anymore, minus the motherboard, and most of the time it's not the newest processors or fastest ram either. The only thing you're buying with apple anymore is a sleek design and the operating system.
Also if you're somewhat good with computers, you can put Mac OS on a PC.
Edit: a new point of view: sample size. Windows has literally billions of people using it. Apple doesn't. With billions of users, you're bound to find problems, with hundreds of thousands of users, you won't find as many, if any.
