Subject: Foliar Feeding Sugar

Deckerville MI
I saw a thread on DTN where Ray Rawson said that a soybean foliar nutrition program needs to include sugar as an energy source? Sucrose, glucose, fructose? How much? At what time(s)? Sugar is carbon, hydrogen and oxygen; how do those elements enhance growth? I think the organic guys use sugar as an insecticide. If it's controlling insects, why not Warrior or Lorsban?
