Not intimately familiar with Ubiquiti hardware or Moobot. Does the hardware have a small data drive and operating system that would permit installation of FTP software if an attacker knows the router password, which apparently defaults to a password known publicly? Or does Moobot permit access both directions if the router password is known?
Do you think the US had access to all the machines connected to the compromised network? Or only the ability to view/capture traffic through the compromised routers? | |
