Saunders County Nebraska | 2.8 trillion market cap is crazy that's for sure. My banker used to tell me when i started farming was that AG was the backbone of America now i wonder how relevant we are in the big picture. Google says the US AG sector in 2022 all commodities had a record breaking year of $552 billion dollars . Prices were much higher then for commodities but in 2022 Apple had sales of $386 billion with 97 billion in profits . They run around that 25% profit margins vs Ag maybe 10% i don't know for sure but i know its not 25%. . Just trying to come up with a value of all producers assets it took to produce that $ 552 billion dollars of commodities to compare to the 2.8 trillion market cap of AAPL is a shot in the dark . | |
