Sorry to hear about your losses. That's hard if you've been close to your parents.

As far as the mid life crisis thing? It can be real if you let it. I haven't felt that way, ever. Only thing I'll be pissed about when it's my time to go I won't be done having fun and enjoying the work I currently do. I'm 57 and nowhere near retiring like many of my relatives and friends are or keep talking about. I live in a different world than most I guess. Always something to do or build or vacation to.

My advice is if you don't have a passion then find one or many. Maybe work, may be leisure activity. Something to keep the fires lit. And if there's more going on please get professional help. It's really ok.

My Winter passion is done. Onto work. Skied out the last day somewhat locally at granite peak with some family yesterday. Fun day. ****ty ski year but we still enjoyed it.
