WCIN | We don’t require a deposit especially for established customers. My wife handles the finance side of the beef, so I’m not as well versed on the in and out of that. If she does require a deposit, it’s based on how well she knows them/gut feeling. I would guess something like 10-25% of what they are buying.
She prefers payments, which works really well around tax time. We have learned to get some upfront payments vs payments after they have received the meat.
My wife has turned into almost a loan shark/bookie type person, she likes it almost too well, I will give her credit she keeps it all straight and hasn’t missed collecting. | |
