Do you remember wage and price controls and how they effected fat cattle about that time? I am not sure I understood them at that time and sure don't remember. That was the start of a tough slog for cattle feeders around here.


Yes , idk the affect it had on cattle mkt. but remember boycotts of beef and an TV interview of 2 women picketing beef and then interviewed in restaurant having hamburger. Reporter asked them about that "we didn't know hamburger was beef" ......Pretty turbulent times
