SC Kansas | I’ve tried them all. The new Stihl file with guide and all is very good. I broke down and bought a carbide chain. There are Amish in the area that burn a lot of wood. One of their local shops made me up a carbide chain. So far so good. $100 later and I’ve run it for several hours and have yet to dull it. All I burn is Osage Orange/hedge so it’s not like it’s getting pampered. Might consider going carbide. | |
